standard patio door size curtains

standard patio door size curtains – Buy a shower curtain in a design you prefer and which matches the type of your bathroom – frequently shower curtains are the largest colored surface in this little room – therefore it is very important to get it right. Once you get your own shower curtain home, here is how to hang it properly

1. Lay out the Shower Curtain

Open the package and put the shower curtain out fully on the floor. Shower curtains often have two parts (which you can purchase individually). You can have an outer non-waterproof coating and an inner waterproof liner or you may just have a single waterproof curtain.

2. Line Up the Eyelets

If you have an outer and inner drape both will have eyelets in the top. If you have two parts then put out the liner. When there is a wrong side and a right side then have the right side facing the floor. Then put the outer drape on top with the eyelets at the exact same finish and with the right side facing outwards. That way you can see that the best side on the liner when you are in the shower and the best side of the curtain whenever you’re in the bathroom!

If you have bought shower curtains and liner separately along with the eyelets don’t match up you may be better hanging the curtains separately and using a double (dual track) shower rod or rail.

If you have a single waterproof curtain then simply lay it out on the floor.

3. Insert the Rings

Insert one of them into each eyelet.

4. Hang across the Bathtub

Place the curtain rings on the shower curtain pole or rail which should be installed according to the manufacturer’s directions. (You don’t need the entire thing coming down on you in mid-shower).

The interior lining or single shower curtain should be placed inside the tub as you shower to prevent water leaking onto the floor. The outer curtain (if you have one) ought to be arranged away from the bathroom tub.

5. Following Your Shower

After you have showered open the curtains completely – yank them as much as they extent across the duration of the pole or rail so they have a chance to dry – this can help prevent mildew.
